Viento wines are created by Rich Cushman. Rich has been instrumental in making quality wine for many well regarded wineries in Oregon for over twenty years. With his own private label, Rich and his family are working together to make their own limited production of award-winning wines now in Hood River, Oregon in space leased from Pheasant Valley Winery.

The name Viento is Spanish for 'wind' and was chosen to reflect the constant vibrancy of the wind in the Columbia River Gorge where I was born and raised. The label reflects the creation and the movement of the wind and the rich color of our exceptional wines. The label artwork is from Albrecht Durer's "The Holy Trinity", 1511.
